Oyate Zambia Welcomes Newly Elected Katuba Member of Parliament

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Oyate Zambia had the honor of welcoming the newly elected Member of Parliament for Katuba Constituency, Honorable Mwabachike Nkulukusa, to the Anthu Omwe Health Center in Mungule, Chibombo District. The visit marked another important moment in the strong relationship between Honorable Nkulukusa and Oyate Zambia. He visited the facility to reaffirm his commitment to working with our organization and to strengthening partnerships that will improve the lives of people throughout Katuba Constituency. During the visit, Honorable Nkulukusa emphasized that, over the next five years, the Government of the Republic of Zambia and the leadership of Katuba Constituency will rely on meaningful partnerships with the private sector and community-based organizations to achieve their development plans. His message reflects an important reality: government cannot address every community challenge alone. Lasting development requires collaboration among government institutions, traditional leaders, nonprofit organizations, businesses, healthcare professionals, donors, and the communities themselves. When these different sectors work together with a shared purpose, they can mobilize resources, expand essential services, and create sustainable solutions. The Anthu Omwe Health Center is an example of what such partnerships can accomplish. Located in the rural community of Mungule, the facility provides free, quality healthcare to residents who might otherwise struggle to access essential medical services. Its services include general consultations, laboratory testing, pharmacy services, maternal and newborn healthcare, family planning, health education, and community outreach. Honorable Nkulukusa has consistently demonstrated his support for the work of Oyate Zambia. He has remained accessible and responsive whenever his leadership and assistance have been needed. His visit was therefore not simply ceremonial; it represented a continuation of a trusted partnership built around service, community development, and a shared commitment to the people of Katuba. It is always an honor to receive Honorable Nkulukusa at our facility. His willingness to listen, engage, and stand with organizations serving rural communities gives us confidence that the next five years can bring meaningful progress to Katuba Constituency. Oyate Zambia looks forward to working closely with Honorable Nkulukusa, the Government of Zambia, private-sector partners, traditional leaders, and local communities to bring more healthcare services, educational opportunities, economic empowerment initiatives, and essential resources to the people of Katuba. Together, we can build a healthier, stronger, and more prosperous constituency—one in which every community is included and no one is left behind.
